This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am very thankful to be the teacher of twenty motivated, eclectic, third graders. We are a part of a large public school in Oakland, California and we are having a great start to our school year!

We are a class full of unique and powerful third graders!

We are linguistically and culturally diverse. We are gamers, artists, readers, and writers. We are working hard at making the transition back to in person learning safe and memorable!

My Project

Students are working so hard in all subjects, but my students always remind me that they learn best when they are creating!

With this project, we will be able to create projects to supplement our curriculum!

We will learn using so many art modals, with new model clay, crayons, crafting tissues, and so much more. I always see my students most engaged when they are expressing themselves. When they create, they are collaborating, practicing academic language, as well as having fun!
