Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager and excited to learn about technology and how to use it as a tool for instruction. Every morning they ask if we are going to the computer lab. They enjoy typing and printing their reports, coding, and seeing their projects come to life.

Many times my students are excited to print out their work, but are disappointed to see their work in black and white.

It doesn't demonstrate the work they put into the details of adding pictures, font color, and clip art to showcase their learning.

My Project

Having a color printer in the classroom will help students observe and connect to things in real life by having real-life pictures in color. I will be able to print out various resources including vocabulary, teaching charts, and reading materials in color.

Students will also be able to print their own work in color.

The color printer will help students engage their learning through visuals and real-life examples.

Seeing something in color really changes your perspective. The color will allow my students to appreciate the details by using it as a tool to further their knowledge in the world around them.
