Help me give my students a colored printer!
In addition, this printer is an excellent value because it comes ready to print up to 11,000 pages straight out of the box!
I teach third-grade reading in an amazing school; however, it is a Title I school and my students come from low-income homes. My students are starving to learn as much as possible every day so they can become successful. My heart swells with pride that they love learning and want the best for themselves. They have difficult situations that they deal with daily, but coming to school makes them forget about those trying situations. My students are hard-working and deserve the chance to have what it takes to be successful but it is hard when they need supplies. We journal and do collaborative, hands-on projects daily that require glue sticks, crayons, a printer, copy paper, ink cartridges and laminate. If we could get some funding on these items it would make learning easier so they can have a year full of learning.
My Project
Every year I print lots of instructional materials for our classroom including center material, classroom posters, letters to take home, and much more. As you may or may not know schools sometimes run out of ink or paper and can even restrict the number of papers that teachers can copy. Additionally, we only have access to a black and white printer. We do not live in a black and white world. Out of necessity- I sometimes need to print class sets of papers at home which is extremely expensive.
This Epson Eco Tank printer will be put to good use in my classroom!
In addition, this printer is an excellent value because it comes ready to print up to 11,000 pages straight out of the box! More exciting for me is that the ink for this printer is very reasonable when I finally do need to add more! I am proud to be a public school teacher and to help shape little minds.
