Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In Geometry, we study the relationships between points, lines, and angles. This includes 3D figures with area and volume. However, most often these concepts are taught on paper so students aren't able to fully experience and grasp the concepts.

With this 3D printer, students will be able to create geometric models and connect their learning to real-life situations.

The finished product will allow them to practice using computer-assisted design software, as well as experience the practice of design and gain a better understanding of geometry. Students will see their ideas come to life and make something tangible for a project that addresses a problem present in the real world and learn how geometry is intertwined with their everyday lives and communities.
