Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Often when students finish early they get free time. At the end of the year, after testing, or when the majority of the class is on a field trip, there are more opportunities for free time. This time is often spent playing games on computers, what they spend a great deal of time doing after school as well.

I would like to give the students an opportunity to collaborate with their peers playing games.

They will develop social skills, communication skills, minimize screen time, and have fun! Students genuinely enjoy the opportunity when I am able to offer it to them, however games are costly and if is difficult to provide enough. The students and I would be extremely grateful to have these options in our classroom.
