My students are creative and ask lots of questions. They have a desire to learn new things and challenge themselves. I teach First Grade. Primary grades need lots of hands-on activities. They like to think outside the box.
My students are good at problem solving and not giving up, and they are always looking for new ways to challenge themselves.
They amaze me by how quickly they pick up new concepts and implement them. This year we are using the Blended Learning model in our classroom. They are ready for any new challenge put in front of them. They are determined and are not easily discouraged. As they persevere, they are learning life skills everyday.
My Project
These materials will provide my students with accessible furniture. They have little bodies and need furniture that is comfortable for them to work at. I have a standing table in my classroom. My students love being able to work while also having the freedom to move their bodies.
This table will be a great flexible seating option for our classroom.
It will allow my students a seating choice which doesn't require a chair. My current tables are too tall. They are not comfortable for my students to work at. This table would provide another comfortable seating choice for my First Grade students. Comfortable flexible seating will help increase engagement and help students stay more focused.
