Our school is a Title I school, meaning all of our kids qualify for free lunch because they live in high poverty. Many of our students routinely come to school with no supplies. Educational inequality is arguably one of the most pressing social justice issues of our time. To help overcome this, our school must provide the highest quality of education possible, and that means we need supplies to get the work done!

Many of my basic classroom supplies are used up, and need to be replenished. Help us add some basic classroom supplies to our room to enhance learning and engagement! The supplies include a classroom calendar, magnets to be able to create an interactive language wall, a storage tower to store classroom supplies, markers for anchor charts, and candy to use for rewards. The other classroom supplies will be kept in the classroom and used during classroom instruction every day! Also, I just found out that next year, I will be a resource math teacher. I need supplies that will be used to help support students who are in a resource classroom.
By having these basic classroom supplies, the students will have enough materials to take part in fun, hands-on, engaging lessons. I love hands-on engaging classes, where the kinesthetic and visual learners can be successful. By getting these basic supplies, I will hopefully be able to accomplish that.
