This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We live in Wisconsin, where the weather is intense. There are many days of indoor recess. Recess plays an important role in learning. Students need that break for social, emotional, and physical well-being.

Children are learning at all times, so it does not stop at recess time.

However, indoor recess can be challenging. Students need a variety of options for indoor recess, not just board games. I want to provide art activities for indoor recess.

These supplies will provide a variety of art activities for students to have during indoor recess. They can create bracelets and diamond art. They can color and draw using colored pencils and markers. They can create art with stickers. Students will have an amazing recess with these supplies.
