This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are in need of a new classroom rug. It is a special gathering space for our class. This classroom rug is the place where lessons are taught, ideas are shared, stories are read, and memories are made! My goal is for our classroom to be a calm, welcoming, and comfortable environment for all of my students. I know this new rug will greatly contribute to that goal. Having all the students be able to sit on the rug all together and have enough space will mean so much to my present students and future students.
