My Students
My students have a great desire to be successful academically. They strive daily to do their best, despite many troubling factors they may face every day. Nearly one hundred percent of our students receive free lunch and live each day facing hardships we can't imagine.
Despite extreme poverty, our future leaders, my students, truly enjoy reading books and look forward to coming to school to access and utilize technology.
My students are a joy to work with, and they participate in classroom discussions daily and work well in groups and independently.
My Project
In this day and time education has become even more challenging. As educators teaching face-to-face, we strive to keep a safe, healthy, and clean environment in the classroom. My students are in need of supplies to maintain a healthy learning environment.
My students need face masks to help minimize the spread of germs when they enter the classroom.
Also, having sanitizing wipes, individually assigned headphones and a humidifier will assist in keeping a sanitized classroom. Many students come to school without a snack for the day. Additionally, having bottle water and snacks will be a tremendous help for the students who are in need. Moreover, in the cool months my classroom can get cold and having a heater will help them feel more comfortable.
