This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Kindergarten students work hard to become independent readers, writers, and mathematicians! Every day is filled with explicit whole group instruction and practice. Students are also given the opportunity to practice skills independently or with small groups and partners during learning centers. During this time, students will work on games and stations to become fluent in reading, writing, and math skills learned during our whole group lessons.
Organized, differentiated practice is essential to become independent learners!
The items requested will help my students have center games and materials at hand. They will be organized with the project cases and the storage boxes to allow students to engage in independent practice and cleaning up. Literacy and math centers will lead my students to become independent workers and thinkers!
