Learning Center Supplies for Math and Language Arts!

My Project

Help me take worksheets, game boards, task cards, and other paper-based learning materials and make them durable and reusable by supplying my classroom with laminating pouches. This simple office supply is crucial for various learning centers because it means that one set of materials can be used repeatedly by many students year-round, saving time and resources.

Laminating pouches turn any laminated surface into a mini-whiteboard, providing interactive and engaging learning experiences for students to complete tasks, solve problems, or record answers.

These laminating pouches will be used for math word problems, puzzles, geometry, measurement, addition and subtraction, and many more math center activities. They will also be used heavily in student goal-setting cards, student-created rubrics, and language arts centers for learning vocabulary lists, matching games, reading comprehension questions, grammar, sentence writing, and spelling practice activities.

Learning Center Activities are differentiated so my students can find success at different levels, self-monitor, and make immediate corrections when necessary. The pressure and anxiety in students are lessened when using whiteboard markers and erasable surfaces while working independently or in a small group. They learn that making mistakes is absolutely okay and it is all a part of the learning process and how much growth they can achieve. I want my students to feel successful in their learning and discovery in math and language arts. Practicing ongoing skills each week as well as setting goals individually and in small groups, will help my students become the strong, confident, learners I know they can be!
