This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students are amazing self-proclaimed artists. I have found that when I incorporate art into our lessons, my students are much more engaged in their learning. Unfortunately, my current supply of art materials is running low. Many of my paint brushes are broken, and I do not have any watercolor art supplies for my students to use. I would love to have more art supplies to further support my students to learn through painting!

I am requesting watercolor materials that we will use in our upcoming thematic unit!

The artwork the students create will directly relate to what we will learn, which will help solidify their understanding and learning through art. I am so excited to show you their beautiful art pieces after this project is fully funded!
