My Students

I am a PreK teacher for children with disabilities. Most of my students have autism with speech and occupational delays. They are adorable, caring and fun. They are just like any other 3, 4 and 5 year olds. I want to help them reach their fullest potential.

My students need things presented to them in fun and in a variety of ways to help them process, understand, and retain the information.

My Preschool children are currently remote learning. The time I have with them needs to be engaging and fun.

My Project

My sweet preschool students with autism are having a hard time during these strange and unprecendented times. They are having difficulties learning through a computer screen. Many can't look directly at the screen and they all need hands on activities to hold and manipulate.

These kits and supplies from Laksehore will help my students feel connected to me and the lesson and will give them all the same supplies to complete the activities and projects.

We will use these supplies from Laksehore daily and I know they will help my students engage in the lessons and create a sense of connection that we currently are struggling to develop and maintain.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
