Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I have recently acquired a nice slide collection by attending professional development courses. These slides are of various artworks that my seventh grade students could learn from. I am in need of a slide projector to show my slides to the students. Showing the slides of artwork to my students will enhance their art education by seeing details and viewing art on a large scale that they just can't see in books. When I show artwork from books not every student can see it at the same time. Many students want time to look at the artwork and if it is projected on a screen from a slide projector each student has the opportunity to view it for an extended time without waiting for a turn. Most of my students come from low income families and do not have a chance to see art. I want to be able to expose my students to as much art during the year as possible and a slide projector will give each student that possibility.
