This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is filled with the sweetest group of students, who want so badly to fit in with their general education peers. In our self-contained classroom learning how to identify and control our emotions is an essential skill for student success. Mastering these skills helps improve student communication, relationships, and coping strategies.

A student who is confident is a student that succeeds.

The Little Spot of Emotions curriculum is an engaging and hands on, kid and SPED friendly, resource to help our students master these skills. Each story goes into detail about the individual emotions and how to cope with them. The plushies help students connect the learning to something fun. Please help me provide my students with the tools and materials they need to be successful. Thank you for considering helping our classroom.
