Help me give my students the means to grow hydroponic plants and then plant them outdoors.

My Project

Learning how to grow food is an important life skill. Many students are overweight and out of shape. They do not have many vegetables in their diet. Learning to grow their food and studying the process from seed to table may make them more inclined to try new things.

Gardening has ties to every aspect of the curriculum and for students with severe to profound cognitive delays, it could also become a job and leisure skill training.

By donating to my project you will help my students become involved with positive change. We need raised beds, soil, and seed pods. Every day should be Earth Day, and my students can contribute to the health of the planet.
