My Project
The second-grade students at my school are enthusiastic learners who are filled with curiosity. They are highly energetic and active learners.
As I taught my second graders about Earth Day, they were fascinated!
They loved learning about how big and diverse our planet is but were also shocked to learn the Earth is becoming polluted and some animals are in danger. I want to add more books to our classroom library about Earth, its animals, and how we can make positive environmental choices. These books will allow my students to learn about our planet and the ways they can help protect it. In addition to the books our classroom needs maps of our country and the world so students can look at different locations as we continue to learn about our planet.
