This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
.Please help learn about plants in our environment by providing seeds, strawberry roots, soil, and pots for planting.
We would also like pebbles, environmental pencils and stickers, and plant rooting device.
These resources will help learn about the plant life cycle.
The lavender seeds ,dill seeds, soil, and planting containers will be used so students can start their butterfly garden at home. They will plant the seeds at school, watch the seeds sprout, and then take them to plant at home so the plants can flourish. We will also use the pebbles for the plant.
I am also asking for environmental stickers and pencils for the students as an incentive. The plant rooting device will be used to show students that there are many ways to start a plant. My students will plant observe write and gather data while learning about the plant life cycle. By helping us with this project you will be helping us learn all about our environment.
