Learning About Characters!

My students need 10 Kevin Henkes books to study about characters!

My Students

Lilly! Wemberley! Owen! Julius! These loveable mice have real life emotions and events that help students to understand characters.

My students love to read, and love even more to have me read a story to them.

Most of their parents work around the clock and they are with babysitters/daycare/etc. These students need to hear stories read to them that can also relate to our reading unit.

My Project

These 10 books directly relate to teaching students about characters: how they look, act, feel and their thoughts. Students are able to take these mouse stories and think about how they could feel and think in real life situations. These books align to our Common Core standards about characters.

Please help us with this reading unit by providing Kevin Henkes collection to us.

My students will love having these books read to them throughout the character unit. They will enjoy hearing and studying about Julius, Lilly, Wemberly and many others!
