My Project

I am the proud teacher of amazing kindergarten and first grade students, some of whom are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We just completed a weeks-long habitat study where we learned about animals, their habitats, and where in the world these habitats were located.

My students were so engrossed in their learning! In our classroom, we have the Learning Resources jumbo animals sets that are at least 10 years old! Even though most of these animals are still in pretty good shape, many of them have cracked over the years and through classes and classes of play and exploration.

I would love to replace our animals so that my current and future students will also have the benefit of exploring the animals and the environment they live in.
