My Students

Help to make math fun and engaging!

I teach math to the students who are in Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5.

They are all curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. Some of my students are great at math, some of them love math, and I am hoping that most of them will learn how to become better mathematicians and apply what they learn to every day tasks.

All of them love working together and benefit greatly from doing hands-on tasks that are fun, engaging and challenging.

My Project

VersTiles will improve my student’s understanding and competency with math concepts in a fun and engaging way. My students love working as a small group in my classroom. They are very hardworking and curious, and some of them are excellent in math. Most of the students understand math concept, and I am hoping that they would become aspiring mathematicians. All of the students love playing with materials while we learn. Kids thrive on doing hands-on things, and these materials will allow them to do so. Figuring out puzzles is fun, and it does not feel like tedious work.

Since I teach several grade levels, these kits will allow students who are struggling use kits that are designed for the lower grade, and the students that are above their grade level will be able to use the kit that is designed for the upper grade level.

My students will love getting their hands on these tiles!
