The sensory supplies you have donated have helped my students regulate themselves more effectively to make themselves available to academic content. \r\nWe were able to increase the number of Centers available during the day to allow children more access to sensory experiences. Everyday students could interact with play-doh, sensory sand, or putty to work on their fine motor skills and regulate their emotions. Their little fingers became more adept with every playdoh pizza, or sand castle they made. \r\nStudents were ecstatic every time a new box of supplies arrived. We were able to introduce the materials slowly and have children engage with each item with meaning. Some of the materials were intended for specific children like the body sock, ball chair and fidgets.
