Help me give my students rekenreks to build number sense, deepen understanding of numbers, and build fluency in addition and subtraction!

My students are eager to learn, respectful, intelligent, enthusiastic, and energetic individuals! They are excited about learning both remotely and in person. They are eager to learn reading and math and foundational skills in first grade. They have been away from learning for quite a while because of Covid-19, and I want to welcome them back to school in a warm and friendly environment online and in person. I have the opportunity of making their first grade experience a delightful one!
Though many of my students have the desire to learn, they are faced with several challenges being that they live in a single parent, low-income/high poverty area in the inner city.
Our school is dedicated to building relationships with the students and the community to foster lifelong successful learners.
Thank you for reading this and considering donating to such deserving little ones!
Distance learning is challenging in of itself but having the right hands on manipulatives for the students to use frequently can make all the difference.
Rekenreks are the perfect tools to use during distance learning as they can work wonders in demonstrating number concepts for students to master.
I have been building the students' at home kits with meaningful manipulatives and tools that will build a secure math foundation for distance learning and during a safe return to school. It is especially important to solidify mathematical concepts during distance learning as it is sometimes hard to reach students and help them grasp concepts. Any aid that will assist in this matter is most appreciated, and these rekenreks would be an excellent choice for student learning and growth!
