Learn Together and Play Together!

Help me give my students recess balls, jumpropes, lawn bowling and a corn-hole game to play together at recess.

My Students

In our class we talk a lot about being a community of learners. We are helping each other learn together. We encourage and remind each other daily that we can do anything if we have a positive attitude and try hard. We like our strong community to continue out at recess, where the students learn to play together, also.

I encourage the students to help each other learn and help each other play.

My students love to learn together and play together. My students are taught that teamwork is important, whether it be in learning or playing.

My Project

Students in my class are taught to help each other learn and this helps build community among them. I emphasize that they need to learn teamwork. I would like what I am working on in the classroom (teamwork and community) to carry out to recess. In the past, we have had quite a few problems at recess time with students not knowing how to play together well.

I would like them to have recess games to play that will build community and teamwork among them.

I am asking for recess balls for important team games and fun games such as corn hole toss and lawn bowling.

I not only want them to help each other learn together as a community, but I also want them to help each other play together as a community.
