My students need to feel motivated to do what they need to do in order to succeed by doing what they love to do while doing so. We need classroom vet center, the Mystery box and much more.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school is 98% economically disadvantaged and Latino/Hispanic. My students are mostly first generation Americans whose parents come from Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, and other countries in Central America. Their first language is Spanish and in school they learn both Spanish and English.
Being from an econimically disadvantaged background, many of my students lack basic learning tools, such as books, pencils, or art supplies.
School is the only place where most of these students will receive meals, attention, and educational materials. My students participate in learning centers, where they can explore different topics and materials in a hands-on way. They also love reading books about families, animals, and fairy tales. I love coming to work every day and seeing their little faces light up with joy when they master something new.
My Project
Because by being able to do something they typically cannot do due to economic reasons. They will be able to see the fun within learning and look forward to coming to school everyday ready to learn. By them feeling motivated to learn they find a reason to succeed and move ahead in life. To strive to be amazing and life changing people that I know they can achieve because no matter what a student may be going through they will always if they try hard enough; be who they want to be because that is all that really matters to them and the people who impact their lives everyday.
