Learn to Love Literacy

Help me give my students VersaTiles Literacy Kits for individualized literacy instruction. These self checking activities will help me support my students' individual needs in an efficient way.

My Students

My students are energetic, eager to learn, fabulous first graders. My school is a school-wide Title I school, where all students receive free breakfast and lunch due to our high population of children living in poverty.

Although my students face challenges in their young lives, they are still passionate about learning and doing their best in school.

Seeing their excitement for learning makes me want to do all I can to give them the best learning resources. Their excitement for learning is contagious!

My Project

The materials in the literacy kits will make an excellent addition to our classroom literacy resources. I will use the kits to provide individualized skill practice for my students during literacy centers and intervention.

First grade is the year of learning to read and I am excited to be able to use these kits to support that mission that every child leaves my classroom as a successful reader.

These self-checking kits will help make our literacy centers run smoothly. My students will be able to build on their reading skills with these hands-on activities. These kits will be an engaging way to help my students grow as readers.
