My Students

I'm hoping to inspire my students with technology and connect it to mathematics. We'll take on blogging, Twitter, video editing, 3D printing, Skype, and much, much more! My fourth-grade students come from a variety of backgrounds. Fifty percent of my students live in high poverty areas, and about 15 percent of them are English Language Learners from South Africa, Vietnam, Nigeria, Bhutan, and other countries.

Our school is a K-5 Vermont school that loves embracing STEM activities.

We put tools into the hands of students to keep them energized. My students are an energetic and inspired group of learners who love utilizing technology.

My Project

We have a beautiful outside learning space outside my classroom. We could easily use an extension cord and set up a projector to learn outside. On the far side of the school in our garden we have several outlets as well. We'd be able to setup a projector and the outdoor screen.

Students need to be able to learn outside.

If teachers were able to project lessons, it would allow for a lot more interactive learning. During this stressful time it would allow students be outside and breathe fresh air. Students would stay so much healthier and safer being outside more frequently. Please help make this dream a reality!
