This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have the unique opportunity to meet the author of this book based on her father's experience escaping the Nazi's during World War II. This will greatly impact their learning by making their knowledge of the war come to life. Soon they will be creating their projects in their American History classes and I know this project will be a wonderful exposure to real world learning.

After we meet the author on our trip it will make a huge impact for our students to be able to read American Wolf: From Nazi refugee to American Spy.
