This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our second graders are an amazing group of sweet, compassionate, hard working, and resilient kids! I am blessed to have been our kids' teacher for two consecutive years. It has allowed us to create meaningful relationships with them and their families.

Due to their love for learning and inquisitive personalities, they become better readers, writers, scientists, and tiny human beings every day!

They come from a variety of backgrounds and contribute proudly and meaningfully to our school's and classroom cultures.

My Project

Students will explore a variety of real life careers in a child-sized replica of a real city, including buildings, shops and theaters, as well as vehicles and pedestrians moving along its streets. They will, through hands-on and play, nurture their imagination and give students a sense of adventure. They will learn essential skills such as problem solving, working with others, sharing and much more.

In this city, children work in branded activities from bottling drinks, working in dentist offices, working at restaurants, and using airline tickets from various airlines.

The children earn kidZos (KidZania's currency) while performing the tasks, and the money is kept in the KidZania bank for children to spend at the gift shop and on KidZania's activities.
