My students need the LeapFrog Tag Reading System to aid in their reading progress. Students that are developing their reading skills will benefit from this system.
My students come from varying backgrounds. Some face socioeconomic challenges while others have the challenge of learning English as a second language. All of the students I work with are trying to improve their reading skills and the LeapFrog Tag Reading System will lead them to become more fluent readers.
I have an eclectic group of learners in my classroom.
Their families face many struggles from joblessness, homelessness, and parents that have to work outside of the state to keep food on the table. Some of my students have parents who have been deployed in the military that are trying to become a family again. No matter the challenge, my students are trying their very best to stay motivated to learn.
My Project
Having the LeapFrog Tag Reading System in our classroom will motivate students to read more. The system allows the student to read every word or just words that they have difficulty with. They will not only be able to build their reading fluency with the system, they will also be able to build comprehension strategies. The program will motivate and excite students about reading.
Some of my students who are struggling with reading will have a different tool to use individually to improve their fluency.
With this extra practice, using the LeapFrog Tag Reading System, students will be able to meet their grade level goals and improve their skills.
