Help me give my students a blast off in the new school year! My students will learn the engineering design process, then design and launch their very own rockets with these materials.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
All of the requested materials will be used to design, build and launch student made model rockets.
Students will design and make rocket parts like fins and nosecones then launch them into the atmosphere!
First, students will be learning CAD and how they can use it to laser cut certain parts. Some of these parts are the fins and rocket engine centering rings. They will be able to get as creative as they like with the fins which adds an extra layer of excitement.
The next portion of the project will teach students how to use a 3D printer where they will design and print their very own nose cones. Here, they will experiment with aerodynamics as they create their very best and most efficient design.
After assembling and decorating their rockets, the launch pad, batteries, wadding, model rocket engines, and altitude tracker will all be used on launch day where all students will have a chance to watch their creations fly!
Any portion of donation is greatly appreciated, and I will be sure to send pictures from the students' design stage all the way to blast off!
