My Students

My students are becoming Super Readers! Even though most of my students come from backgrounds that haven’t emphasized education, we are working on changing that attitude. In my classroom, we embrace books, and we spend time reading books of our choice every day. We are inspired by each other's reading, and we share book talks and rich conversations about books.

My students are incredible young people who are going to change the world!

We have been reading books and stories about young people who have made major changes in their communities and even the whole world. I can't wait to see what each and every one of my students do for our world!

My Project

I need to add these new release titles to my classroom library! These authors have worked so hard to have their books ready to go out in the world, only to have the world shut down on them! I want to support these authors during this difficult time, as well as give my students amazing books to read when we get back in the classroom.

My students need great books to keep them reading!

My Life as a Potato and all of these are those great books! I was laughing out loud while Arianne Costner was reading from My Life as a Potato! One of these books just might be the book that helps one of my kiddos fall in love with reading and that is no small thing!
