My Students

I teach business and technology to some of the most creative, curious, and innovative students. My goal is to provide tech experiences to our students to promote 21st-century learning and skills with STREAM.

My students are very innovative and creative individuals.

Students in our district often have limited technology experience. My students will begin to discover and cultivate their creativity as they begin to apply their unique gifts and talents and allow them to become the innovators and global leaders of tomorrow with the stories they will be able to create and tell.

My Project

I am requesting a Cricut Explore Air 2 machine and supplies to use in my classroom for several purposes. As a Business and Technology Teacher, the Cricut Explore Air 2 and cutting matts can be used to create bulletin boards, design posters, and build on our Maker Space. I am in the middle of transforming my classroom into a STREAM (science, technology, reading, engineering, art & mathematics) Creativity Lab.

I am planning on using the "The Launch Cycle" The LAUNCH Cycle provides a creative process that can be incorporated into my classroom and engaged my students by creating what they can visualize.

This will lead my students to be more innovative and view creativity as an essential skill, that will empower my students to change the world and become new designers of tomorrow. Leading with both business and technology will prepare my students for future jobs that don't yet exist, but will exist as they enter the working world. The Cricut is a piece of the puzzle that will begin our STREAM Launch.
