This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need a nice and comfortable way to enjoy reading. These large pillows allow my students to find a comfortable way to read and do work in a way that is not just sitting at their desk or on the hard floor. The pillows will allow our class to build out our library and truly make a comfortable reading and learning space.

Diverse learners need diverse places within the classroom.

My students are very diverse and need multiple options on where and how to learn. The addition of this set of large pillows will allow my students options to sit in our classroom library and calming corner when needed. The pillows will allow students to relax during reading times and truly make our classroom a comforting and welcoming space to be.
