My Students

Children are our future! We must teach them well and let them lead the way. My students are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and teachers. They inspire me each and everyday. I learn as much from them and they do from me.

They are growing and learning in the same small, tight knit, school community that inspired me to be a teacher.

My students are my family. I will always strive to give them the best of me and the best this world has to offer. They deserve it. They are our future and they will make the world a better place.

My Project

Today’s students live and work in a world that is rapidly changing, especially in terms of technology. Blended learning is a “best of both worlds” approach to personalizing learning for students. Teachers “blend” face-to-face instruction with online content, as part of an integrated learning experience, to engage students and help them become strong, independent learners. Assessment data collected online is used by teachers to inform and differentiate instruction, and by students to help them drive their own learning.

Implementing blended learning requires technology in the classroom.

There is ample evidence to support the use of blended learning and educational technologies. With your support, I can effectively implement blended learning in my classroom. The Chromebooks will serve as a means to complete research, projects, collaborative groups, individualized learning, and needed intervention. They will also be able to be used as assistive technology for those students that have disabilities.
