Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are energetic and excited about learning! We are a community school and have a wonderful and nurturing community of educators, learners, and parents. Students and faculty come from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds and we take great pride in coming together as one cohesive unit focused on making the world a better place. We embrace our differences and celebrate each other.
Our kids value inclusion, kindness, knowledge, and awareness.
They understand that these are the attributes of a better community and make the world a better place.
My Project
Laptops and headphones!
We are making big academic steps towards our literacy skills.
We have been using our reading intervention program and laptops would help our students not only complete lessons at school, but also at home! It will also help to continue to close the digital divide!
Many students are also in our school's after school program and these laptops could be used to support their learning and homework during and after school.
Our students with disabilities have made great progress this year towards they're goals, and we're not done yet! Looking forward to making more progress as we enter into the next part of our school year!
