My Project

Hello donors! I'm a Special Education Science teacher. This year I teach Biology and Chemistry. I have devoted myself to the education of young minds for the last 10 years, ensuring that all students have equitable opportunities to excel.

This laptop will be a powerful tool to support student learning by enhancing how I plan, deliver, and adapt instruction throughout the day.

With this device, I’ll be able to create engaging, data-driven lesson plans quickly, more efficiently and make real-time adjustments during class—such as modeling solutions to problems, pulling up digital resources, or providing immediate feedback to students.

The laptop will also allow me to stay connected with families through video conferencing, especially for parents who are unable to attend in-person meetings. Maintaining strong communication with families is key to supporting student success, and having a reliable device ensures I can schedule conferences, share updates, and collaborate with parents more effectively.

In addition, I plan to use this laptop for virtual tutoring sessions and academic support. Whether students need help reviewing concepts, catching up on missed work, or pushing ahead with enrichment activities, the laptop will give me the flexibility to meet their needs wherever they are.

Ultimately, this technology will help me better support all learners—through more efficient planning, responsive teaching, and stronger family connections.
