Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a wonderful group of 3, 4, and 5-year-old children whose lack of financial standing should not prevent them from having the opportunity of learning during the pandemic.

I believe that all students can learn and I am working very hard to prepare an engaging learning experience for them, even if it is from home.

My classroom will be 100% distance learning this year; therefore, I want to ensure my students remain connected, supported, loved, and challenged. I love my students very much and I wish I could offer them more learning resources. I would love your help to bring the magic of learning into their homes. Thank you so much for making a difference in my students' lives

My Project

We are learning about feelings and emotions, giving the students opportunities to sketch their feelings helps them understand how they feel. The individual lap top trays will offer students a consistence space where they can practice drawing their feelings and emotions.

When a student has an individual space at home to be able to draw their feelings and emotions.

The student can work and focus on work without interrupting those around them. Learning about feelings and emotions and having the space and tools needed to be successful creates a more positive learning time.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
