This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I want to provide the opportunity for students to learn where they are most comfortable. Sometimes students need to move to the carpet to see better. Right now students have to awkwardly sit and try to write on a paper, while trying to give everyone enough space. If my students had these lap desks I know that our classroom will be much more comfortable for them all.

Lap desks help provide students a space for learning at the carpet.

Students will love having something that is their own to use at the carpet.
