Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Thank you fellow potential donors for taking the time to view my project. After 16 years of teaching students with special needs, I was recently offered a new opportunity to teach English to students who speak other languages. My student population consist of both English language learners, as well as students with special needs.
The materials will be used to support language building skills to this unique population.
The books selected will support small group instruction for building vocabulary and early literary skills. Other items will be used for modeling and instructional purposes. I need your help to make the learning experience engaging and purposeful for building language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing! All donations are greatly appreciated!
