They immediately ran to it, touching the soft fabric and choosing their favorite spots to sit. It has quickly become the heart of our classroom—our gathering place for story time and learning together. There was one special morning where we read ¡Esperando a Godot! / Waiting Is Not Easy! side by side in English and Spanish. A few of my students who speak Spanish at home were thrilled to help their classmates understand some of the phrases. Their pride in sharing their language was a beautiful moment of connection and confidence.\r\n\r\nThe Gerald and Piggie books have become a classroom favorite! Their humor and warmth make them perfect for both early readers and for group read-alouds.
