My students are creative, clever, and very spontaneous. They like to move. They love to read and they love interactive games. The students in my classroom are all English language learners. Despite the language barriers, my students are eager to learn and do their best. Meeting the individual needs of four and five-year-olds who come from different socioeconomic, cultural, and religious backgrounds can be one of the toughest challenges of all. However, loving each and every one of their personalities and smiling faces makes it extremely easy.
Little learners need fun materials to help them learn! The materials will provide engaging hands-on activities for my students during small group instruction. Language is a big part of our curriculum, and these materials will enhance my students' language skills in not just English language arts, but also in math and science!
Without language, it is difficult for us to communicate.
These activities will help develop my students' knowledge of language in a play-based setting. My students will learn how to explore materials while also exploring the English language. With these Instant Learning centers, my students will develop skills in rhyming sounds, beginning sounds, story sequencing, letter recognition, building words, syllable counting, sight words, simple sentences, and much more!
