Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school has an International Baccalaureate program that is beginning to take off!

Our students are learning a second language (Spanish) and we are also trying to have more minority students increase their literacy in their home language.

Increasing literacy will increase their overall test scores.

We are trying to focus on the most important part: verbal communication. These supplies will allow them to focus on their work as they speak, as they are a lot of them in one room and get distracted by what others are saying. By building confidence in their abilities, we hope to see an increase in growth and learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
