This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students this year are Art I and Art II students. Over half of my students are new to Art this year. Both Art classes are middle and high school students. It is important all of our students have enough supplies to complete the school year. We have several amazing girls that show a lot of potentials and it will be cool that we have soft pastels, paper, rules, and Assorted Markers for cool “Master Pieces! We are grateful for your donation; it will help provide a solid foundation for my Little Picasso’s.
Our students will learn new techniques by using watercolor.
My students are still into anime and the Anime club has even grown by 10+ students. They are using colored pencils and paper, which provides various vital exercises to complete their project. It will be awesome to receive help from donors. Our students have very bright ideas that stretch their imagination.
With your help, we want to allow everyone the opportunity to develop skills that will help them be effective artists in many various forms of the arts. We thank you in advance!
My Project
This time of the year our students have covered some of the basics through the Fundamentals of Art. Now, we will keep their interest through color. Watercolor is an awesome way to use an assortment of colors from blues, greens, yellows, and reds to create a sea of moods of color that hits the surface and “POP”! We will blend colors and use different stencils to trace our beautiful scenery to create amazing works of art. It’s a lot of fun creating with students that love art. Thank you and enjoy your day.
