Help me give my students a laminator to maintain the integrity of papers longer. I would also be able to hole punch things with the electric hole puncher.
My students are fourth and fifth grade resource students with varying disabilities. Most have learning disabilities, but some are autistic, and some have emotional disabilities.
The majority of my students are from low income homes.
My students struggle with reading and writing. We focus on below grade level skills during their time in resource in order to be successful in the general curriculum.
These students will not let their disabilities define them! They work hard to overcome any challenges life places before them.
My Project
I would like to have a laminator for my room so I can make our papers last longer. Students can write on the papers with Vis a Vis pens which will allow me to reuse the papers and save the environment. The two boxes of pouches should last for the remainder of the school year and possibly even last through part of next year.
The electric hole puncher will allow me to punch class sets of papers without having to hole punch each one individually on the manual hole punch in my room.
This will save time in the classroom. Since I save most of their papers for IEP documentation, this will be a great help.
