My Project

The students in the special needs program encounter a variety of challenges due to their different abilities. These challenges include, but are not limited to, speech and language deficits, behavioral challenges, sensory needs, and attention deficits. Because our students have cognitive delays and difficulty communicating, the utilization of visuals throughout the school day is crucial to their learning and to their school experience as a whole.

Our students with special needs will benefit from having their materials and work laminated to meet their needs.

It will allow them to have hands-on experience with their materials.

It is imperative that we provide them with not only curriculum-based materials but all of the materials and supports they need to learn, given their unique needs.

A large laminator will allow teachers in our school to create durable, visual schedules, calendars, behavior charts, token boards, progress monitoring charts, and more! Items such as these will allow students to further their class participation, communication skills, social skills, and self-awareness skills. Please help us to continue to support our students in every way that we can!
