My Project

My students are well-meaning urban scholars who deserve to have the same materials as their peers in other districts. As such, I am requesting some laminators and laminating pouches for my math and science students to use during their station rotations. These laminators and pouches will allow the students to complete their station rotations, keep their work protected and place them in their lab notebooks. This will give them the ability to keep track of their learning and go back to previous topics when necessary.

Laminators and pouches will allow my students to practice their organization skills in keeping track of their stations in their lab notebooks.

Not only will the students laminate their own work when they are done with their stations, but I will also use the laminator to make posters, anchor charts, word walls, and the actual station information. All the while, my scholars will be learning the importance of reduce, reuse and recycle.

Another bonus of this project will be that my students can show their parents all of the skills and standards they are using in math and science class. I know my students will benefit from having a laminating machine that will enhance daily instruction as well as keep us proactive in regard to saving paper.
