This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help provide the following lab materials to our high school chemistry and physics students. Every component will help students become more engaged in their learning. Through hands-on labs in which they explore chemical changes, Newton's laws and the electromagnetic spectrum. Through the use of consumables such as food coloring, styrofoam cups, a microwave, and cards stock students will explore electron configuration, thermal dynamic, the laws of motion and light waves during classroom demonstrations and hands on labs.
Students will explore chemistry and Physics concepts as they develop their understanding of atoms, matter, motion, and light through different labs.
These materials will be used to explore and encourage student engagement. Students will use these materials as they explore learning stations and collaborate with their peers, and create their own labs. They will learn and practice different math skills and explore different career paths as they complete STEAM labs.
