it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school has a diverse population of 800 students and families. My students speak numerous languages and come from all parts of the world.
My students are curious and eager to learn about the world around them.
They enjoy and are engaged in hands-on labs and engineering challenges that allow them to be creative and find solutions to real-world problems. Through our labs and engineering challenges, my students not only learn science skills but also learn collaboration and communication skills.
All my students are unique, hardworking, and motivated to do well in school. They each have goals they are working to achieve by actively participating in my class.
My Project
Hands-on labs and experiences allow students to deepen their understanding of the new national science standards and enable my students to explore science concepts through various learning opportunities. The air purifier, safety glasses, and test tubes will be for science labs that will help my students explore the science behind chemical reactions while modeling concepts using the supplies. The lab supplies will help with my students' understanding of chemistry and allow them to explore chemical reactions. They will be able to see how mixing various chemicals can cause a chemical reaction that produces heat and a color change. Your generosity will give my students a chance to learn on their own, reinforce science concepts, and have fun.
